Is it the one from the Cake Mix Doctor? If so, I have the book and can post it!

BETTER THAN SEX CAKE 1

1 yellow cake mix
Flaked coconut
1 instant vanilla pudding
1 sm. can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. sugar
1 carton Cool Whip
Maraschino cherries
Pineapple rings

Prepare cake according to package directions. Cool completely. Punch holes in cake. Cook pineapple and sugar slowly until sugar is dissolved. Pour sugar and pineapple over warm cake. Top with pudding, then with Cool Whip. Garnish with coconut and pineapple rings. Place maraschino cherry in center of each ring of pineapple. Keep refrigerated. Gets better with age, just like sex.

BETTER THAN SEX CAKE II

1 stick butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix together and spread in bottom of 9x13 pan. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Cool.
Mix: 8 oz. Cool Whip 1 c. confectioners sugar

Spread over crust. Cook 2 small boxes of chocolate pudding with 2 1/2 cups milk (instead of 4). Spread over top when cool. Top with layer of Cool Whip and mixed nuts.

I make this one all the time for get-togethers and everyone loves it! The sweetened condensed milk makes it REALLY moist. If you want it even sweeter, you can also use hot fudge topping in addition to the caramel topping.

Sorry to hi-jack this thread, but is "cool whip" a cream? I don't think I've seen it in Australia.....
Thanks!

Cool Whip is a brand of already whipped cream. Here's what the tub looked like:

Tash,

Cool whip and canned whipped cream that we have aren't the same thing.

We used to have something similar to coolwhip when I was a kid, in a tub just like the link show, but I cant remember what it was called. I'll ask David when he gets home, he's been around longer, and like an elephant, he never forgets icon_wink.gif

Sorry Tash,

I asked my hubby, and he has no idea what I'm talking about. I remember having this sort of whipped cream substitute stuff, that came in a tub, and was frozen, when I was a kid, but I haven't seen it around for years.

You'd be too young to remember it icon_wink.gif

Cheers,
Fran
