Hi there

Need advice please....I am making a cake which needs to be frozen and then carved into a 3d shape..

What I need to know is I am going to stack two cakes and fill with buttercream and then carve...

Do I freeze the cakes and then carve into shape ans then fill with buttercream

Or do I fill the cakes with buttercream and then freeze the whole lot and then carve.,.

Not sure which way to do it...please help

Many thanks

I fill and then freeze and then cut. I did a horse cake that way - see my pix. Came out great.
