I've been asked to do a luau themed cake for a 5 year old girl, and the mother requested that the cake match the tablecloth below. I'm not very good at making these flowers, so does anyone know where I can purchase them? I've looked at several websites, but can't find the purple ones, and that just happens to be the little girls favorite color! (go figure!)

can you make petunia's in Royal icing?
do that same technique using tip 124 or 127, double load the bag with 2 colours and for the center do a tip 5 pull out stem, as long as you can get it. Students love it when i add this in my classes when they make their petunias.

They have several different colors of hibiscus including the PURPLE!!!
Good luck!!
Please post a pic of the cake when you've finished it.

icon_biggrin.gif After looking at the flowers available in that website, it's worth buying them than worrying on how to make them, esp. that you mentioned that you don't do flowers a lot.. I will buy a lot of flowers from this website and just keep them..they are very pretty..

thanks for sharing ...
