Hi,

I just had someone ask me to make chocolate-dipped strawberries for a wedding which will have about 250 guests. They are having other food as well. I have no clue how many to make. Does anyone have any ideas? TIA. icon_smile.gif

I was always taught when there are finger foods, you should have at least 1 per person. That's a lot of strawberries!!! I know a lot of people would charge no less thn $1 per strawberry. I hope someone else can give you a better idea for this one!!

That is what I was going to say! 1 per person. Some people (like me) don't like them, and won't eat any, others,( like my daughters), Love them and will eat several. It should balance out. But, I have made them, and I would charge $1.00 apiece.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I called her back with the price and she said "now I think we're going to have 300 guests!" Yikes! I'll be up to my ears in strawberries and chocolate! As Ina Garten would say, "How bad can that be?" icon_lol.gif
