any ideas for a sweet 16 skydiving themed cake? the girl;s gift is going to be skydiving lessons and the mom wants to tell her with the cake. the name of the place is sky circus i'm picturing little figures with parachutes, but dont reallt knoe how to do it

How about doing a search for umbrella cakes-there are many in the gallery and doing it as a parachute instead? You could use a small Polly Pocket or similar doll as the girl.

smashcakes- I think your idea with the animals is excellent! I would do a two tiered cake iced in white. Have grass scattered here an there, 2 or 3 sculpted animals with their parachutes hanging off behind them like they've already landed. You could make the chute out of fondant and string some dental floss through to attach it to the animal. Have some wording like "Sky queen at 16" or "Look out below!" Can't wait to see what you come up with! Make sure to post pics. thumbs_up.gif
