After I have made my 600+ fondant pearls, a co-worker asked me how long they would be edible. Hmmmmm I didn't think about that. Will they last or do they have a shelflife and I am going to have to use them up? Or can you just make up a whole batch of them and put them aside for when you need to use them?

Thanks,

I dont't think that fondant can get bad. It will get dry but if you keep your pearls dark, cool and dry there shouldn't be a problem. My husband recently ate a piece of fondant which I had forgotten to clean up. It must have been there for weeks but it was still edible. He didn't know how old it was and he loves sweets icon_razz.gif
