Lydia
I made the following with the wilton 3d bear. I actually cut off the ears, as the carebear ears are a LOT higher.
Then i carved the face a bit, to make it smaller at the top and larger at the bottom. I made new ears with fondant on
toothpicks and stuck them on the top of the head and then covered the lot with buttercream.

Hope this helps

I did this a year ago for my niece, and suggest that you look at a picture while you do the face. I just did the face as normal, and then went and found my dd carebear just to check and ended up scrapping off the face and redoing it. I thought I could go off my memory on what a carebear looked like, I mean after all I did play with them too when I was a kid, but I realize I do not have a brain anymore!! HAHAHA. The carebears face and cheeks just seem to be a little fatter, but it wasn't hard once I knew what look I was after!
