Need some help with ideas on how to tie a miss you cake with a birthday cake. I have one due tomorrow. All I was told was to do chocolate buttercream and it's for a office lady leaving a construction company and her birthday is next week. It's a 1/4 sheet cake so there isn't much room for writing or decorations.

Open for any suggestions!! My brain is fried. I am a stay at home Mom but this week I was substitute teaching a bunch of 2 & 3 year olds at my son's preschool. Those little buggers wore me out, LOL!!

THANKS!

I once made a suitcase out of a 1/4 sheet made with whipped chocolate ganache for a woman I worked with that was being transferred to another building. I piped on bumper stickers of the places she had worked and where she was going along the sides. I believe the saying on it went something like "No matter where you go, you're always in our hearts".

Another thought could be "we'll miss your birthday and we'll miss you, too". I hope this helps get the juices flowing.

Thanks, imakecakes!! Your posted helped me figure out what to write on this cake. I was totally stumped for some reason.
