How do I get the pic I uploaded to the site to show as an image on the forum. Sorry new to this

Other members can view your gallery photos by clicking on the photos link beneath each of your posts. You can also attach pictures in the forum whenever you make a post by clicking on Add an Attachment in the Attachment Posting Control Panel. You can also post links to the picture.

If you're referring to the small picture which is displayed under your username, this is called an avatar. You can upload an avatar in the Avatar control panel which is located in your forum info (link to your left titled My Forum Info).
