I've invested way too much time and money in ink, new print heads, frosting sheets, etc. My Canon i560 printer has been used a handful of times, I've purchased new print heads, new ink and new frosting sheets from KopyKake. I would like to download my own images but the quality is so poor and the KopyKake on-line system does little to allow you to adjust for color and clarity. Any advice?

I'm sorry you are having so much trouble, but I can completely relate. That's why I eventually stopped offering the service. I used to do all the hand drawn characters and was so sick of all the dozens of bowls of different colored frosting I needed, then came the edible imaging. Some of my customers baulked at it and they wanted the drawings, but they just took too long for the money I could get. I had so many issues with the images and like you, losing money, that I just said that's it! So good luck, I'm sure you will hear from people who have had more positive results and maybe can help you more, but if you are just a little in the hole money wise, maybe you should rethink the hastle.

I use edible images alot and yes sometimes you do get hassles but in my case it was my own fault. Right at the beginning I knew that I had to clean the print head with the cleaning liquids and do a maintenance job every 2 weeks or so. I neglected this and that is how my print head got damaged. Now this was with the Canon Ip3000. The prints were great but they also used way too much ink. I then bought a new printer (IP1500) and so far it's been really great. It uses less ink (IMHO) and I also make the images a little less brighter. I don't use Kopykake to print my images, just plain old Word.

Hope this helps a little.
