I am doing a cake frosted in IMBC with MMF decorations, should I put the MMF on when the frosting is still soft or should I put the cake in the fridge and let it harden first. I am fairly new to using IMBC so any suggestions would help. Thanks, Keli

I've read different views on this. When I try to do it on a cold cake, I get air bubbles. They can be smoothed though. On a soft cake it's too difficult to smooth. So I chill it for a few minutes, just to firm it up.

I'd love to hear another view on this.

dailey does IMBC need refridgerated if so what do you do after you put on the mmf i thought that mmf could not go in tne refridgerator.
