I dont have any piping gel. What else can I do to stick mmf swags on a mmf covered cake? I have made my first 2 tier wedding cake, it is pink. Oh yeah, and I'm outta bc...should I just make more bc and try and get it the same color pink as the cake? Whats the best/stickiest bc recipe? I'm really nervous about doin' the swags, I have never done them....I dont wanna ruin the cake...its lookin' pretty good so far....help...???
Thanks!
Wendy

You could use several different things:

1. Mix equal parts of water and meringue powder /powdered egg whites and use as a glue OR

2. Mix a small amount of water with a small ball of fondant until you get a soupy mixture..that is great as a glue OR

3. Royal icing is great as a glue as well!

HTH!!

Wendy, sorry I can't help you right now for this cake. But for the future- I found a recipe of home made piping get at webmall.com. I haven't tried it yet cause I still have Wilton's but I plan to give it a try sometime.
