Okay..... icon_eek.gif so I got the MMF made! It was really easy and came out nice.I tried to roll it around and onto my papertowel rolls for my daughters castle cake....what a mess!!! icon_mad.gif It wouldn't line up and was a complete nightmare.What am I doing wrong??Is there another way to do this??can someone who has done this help me out icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

How about this? Cut the fondant to size, with a bit of an overlap. Paint the fondant with piping gel that has been thinned with water. Place the paper towel roll onto one end of the fondant and start rolling. Smooth in place as you go. Let the fondant overlap. Cut down the center of the overlap and push the two ends together (like hanging wallpaper). That should do it.

I read where someone used stacked oreos and not the paper towel rolls. They glued them together with royal icing and it also gave a rock type shape. They looked great and had to be easier!
