I am very new at decorating cakes. I have heard others talking about using an overhead projector to project images on the cake. Is this a regular overhead projector like the schools and churches use? If so how do you get the image on the cake to trace instead of for example a wall? I'm just really lost. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

The kind they are talking about are special ones that project the image right down on top of a cake. They are quite pricey.

You can get an image onto a cake though if you take a mirror image of the picture you want, trace it onto wax paper with a bit of black piping gel or black food marker, and then turn the wax paper over and rub the lines onto your cake.
