I need a Hawaiian baby shower cake theme, I like working with fondant & gumpaste if this help. Customer does not want a sheet cake, would like 3 separate round cakes 10, 8, 6. TIA icon_smile.gif

I did a Luau cake once for a little girl's 1st birthday -- the customer provided me with the rubber ducks. Some variation on it could be used for a baby shower. icon_smile.gif

I like kelleym's idea...it's cute. I was thinking you could maybe do a baby laying in a hammock between two palm trees as a topper and then bright lei flowers all over. OR maybe a tiki hut on top with a baby in a bassinet?

I love the idea of a baby in a hammock hanging between two palm trees, but how would one do that? (I have a baby cake coming up that that would be perfect for!).

I have a few recommendations......variations on the following:

or I used to have a cake (in my favorites) that was a sheet cake that looked like a Hawaiian shirt...complete with a Lei....thinking something like that only in onesie form??? (and perhaps the onesie on a round cake since they dont want sheet cakes),

i did this one last year, now it is not multiple tiers but maybe it can give you some ideas of something. the little swimmers were teddy grahams in a gummy life saver. I thought it was so cute

This one was for an anniversary, but maybe you could replace the bears on top with a molded baby with a grass skirt or grass skirt blankie laying underneath the palm tree. Hope this helps!
