I have a recipe that calls for 2 - 9" round pans. However, I would like to make one 10" and one 8". Would this be the same thing sine they both add up to 18"?

Thanks,

Edited to add: And what the heck are you up SO early for--I thought I was the early bird and I'm in the EST time zone! Go back to bed!
