I am not sure if this has been answered already however I cannot find it any where.

How long does the NFSC dough last? I made a batch on 2/9 for cookies I had to make and I have about 1/2 the batch left over. I am wanting to do some cookies for my son's basketball coach for Saturday. I have it in the fridge (probably should have put it in the freezer.. icon_redface.gif ) wrapped in 2 layers of press and seal. Is it still good? Also once baked (not decorated) how long can I keep the cookie itself in the fridge?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

Carmen

I'm not sure if it's good, I've always heard it's good in the fridge for about 3 days. I don't think I would use it.
Maybe someone else will answer.

If you had frozen it you would be able to use it but a week would be the outside of good on a dough with egg I think.

It would be fine for at least a couple months if it's well wrapped to avoid freezer burn.

I usually make all my christmas cookie dough the later part of October into November, freezing the dough and bake early December, freezing the baked cookies. Haven't had a problem yet.... unless my husband finds the baked goods and starts eating them before I have a chance to give them out!
