Hi Merry Christmas to everyone. I would like to ask to anyone who may have a a baker style buttercream icing recipe. I have some but they test chalky and it stays on your mouth. Please help me because I want to use it for my sister's wedding cake. Thank you all.

There are several buttercream recipes on this site. Click the recipes tab at the top of the page and you can search or click buttercream from the list at you right. There are many recipe and decorator sites on the web also, you can just google for it and you'll probably get more hits than you want. Good luck, I hope you find something to your liking! icon_smile.gif

You might want to try using a hi-ratio shortening (better mouth feel) and adding some heavy cream to the frosting (makes the pwd sugar creamy).
