Has anyone heard of this? I can certainly find a recipe for almond cake, but what is the 'milano' part? A local upscale supermarket offers this flavor on wedding cakes and I have a potential client interested. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Unfortunately that's not it either. I have a feeling the "Milano" is just something to make it sound fancy. I saw the cake sample, and it looked like a dense yellow cake, and the client said that it had an almond flavoring. Thanks for trying.

Here's a recipe that I used for my first wedding cake order. It's an almond flavored cake. I'm not sure about the "milano" that you are looking for but this is definitely a great tasting cake.
