I thought that Cream of Tartar and Tartar Sauce were the same thing.

So when I went to Walmart to pick some up, my husband says,"If you put tartar sauce in the icing I'm not gonna eat it."

So I went to ask the lady in the bakery if they were the same thing and she said no and showed me where the cream of tartar were. (She probably had a good laugh at my expense)

Now how smart is that. I am 28 yrs old and just found out that they are totally two different things. Thanks to my DH, we have the right tartar in the icing!!

Well, at least those husbands are good for something once in a while! Don't feel like a dummy, we've all made some silly mistakes. At least you found out before you made the icing.
