Can I make the dreamwhip buttercream icing tonight and refrigerate with the plan to decorate the cake on Friday and serve on Saturday?

I work full time and need to bake the cake and 2 dozen cupcakes tomorrow night and start the decorating process Friday afternoon/evening to be ready for the party on Saturday morning.

Will the icing last?

FYI, it doesn't require refrigeration, unless you feel better about keeping it cold.
