I just got feedback on my first real order-even though I wouldn't let her pay me! She is a dear family friend and I refused payment. It was a Christmas party/happy birthday cake for one of her employees. She just wanted simple with a little red and green, whipped cream icing (hate trying to color wc!) and white cake praline filling. Her husband said they ate every bit of it and loved it!!!! It was an employee party for about 20 women so here's hoping more comes of it!

Thanks guys! Sorry I didn't respond sooner, somehow I lost track of the post-I hate hotmail-I don't get all my e-mails!! I just attended a Christmas party at the "customers" house this weekend and they went on and on about the cake. She said if I don't let her pay me she won't order anything else so I told her the next one was $9,000!! lol! Oh, and the couple who were working at the party had worked at the company party and tried the cake as well and they are engaged so here's looking forward to a wedding cake!!
