Adding Chocolate Canned Frosting To Homemade Buttercream

Saw this posted on here under another post. But dont think there was much for details.
For those of you that have tried this. Do you add a whole can to the batch? Does it taste good?

I have never tried this. I made chocolate buttercream one time and it tasted so good. My DH kept eating it before I could use it.

MaraCarter: When I make my chocolate buttercream I usually add some canned chocolate frosting with it. It always comes out really good. I make up regular buttercream and add Hersheys cocoa, about 1/2 can choc. frosting, & some chocolate syrup. Hope this helps
