I was wondering if you cover the cake with this do I have to ice the cake with something else so that it will stick to it? Does it act the same way as rolled fondant? Does it taste like buttercream?
Any recipes that you have used that you would like sharing?

There is a recipe for rolled buttercream on this website. I haven't tried it though:

I have used the recipe from this site, and it tastes so so good. Yes, I did put a layer of BC under it to help it stick to the cake. It is so much better tasting than fondant or MMF, but it is a bit harder to work with. It is softer and tends to pull apart, but does fix ok. I covered a small wedding cake with it. Pic in my photos, one with big white bow. I think it is worth a try. Good luck, and have a good day.

I have used the rolled BC from Baking911, and as bulldog said, it tends to tear, and as it is very soft, forget roses. But it does taste great. My hat cake was done with rolled BC, as was the sea themed cake.
