I made a three tiered cake, each tier resting on wooden dowels, with a wooden dowel through all three tiers as weel for transport. The tiers are all on boards, with wax paper circles underneath to protect the fondant below. Does anyone have a set of instructions that you give your friends/customers on how to disassemble these things? I want to make sure I don't miss anything.

I often cut the cake directly, then when the first tier is gone, lift off the board and start on the second tier. you just need a sharp knife so you don't have to use too much pressure to cut it.
