The hits keep coming. Our garage was broken into and two of our mountain bikes were stolen. Our furnace decides it's tired of living and dies. My parents were vacationing in FRANCE when the rioting broke out. Here's the good news the police found the bikes and yes crooks are stupid! My parents made it home safely with lots of coffee for me. And we had a small service for our 31 yr. old furnace. Attached is the cake I made for the local police department for doing such a good job. icon_smile.gif

I bet the police don't get many "thank you's" like that. Awesome job (for the cake and the police).

Thanks ladies, I'm just glad all this stress is over before the holidays kick in. When it rains it really pours sometimes. It just made me sick knowing that someone stole something from us while we were sleeping. It was a really stormy night so we didn't hear a thing. I really thought my husband was going to give the policeman who returned his bikes a big kiss. *laff* They did an awesome job and even tried to get some fingerprints. My husband does a lot of adventure racing and mtn. biking so he was just devastated. I know it's just bikes but imagine if someone came in and stole all your cake supplies. *laff* I'd be ready to do some serious damage to that person.
