I am trying to get this straight. Are the only two printers that can be used to create edible images Cannon IP1500, and Cannon IP3000, or have I miss understood this, and there are others. If there are others what are they? Thanks for any and all help on this subject. You are all so helpful, and sometimes I feel overwhelmed by it all.

There may be others, but I know edible ink cartridges are sold for those 2 and are easy to find.
There is a long list of Canon printers that can be used with edible images.
An almost complete list of the printers you can use is at Sugarcraft along with instructions on how to use them.

Missing from the list are some of the newer models. If you're unsure if a printer is compatible, just ask.
Thanks everyone for all of your responses, I will be checking this out. I have an airbrush on the way for my x-mas from my DH but maybe after the New Year I will check into getting one of these.

I got an airbrush for Christmas last year. I was so excited I almost cried LOL! Love it. Many people will buy their printers new off eBay or when they go on sale/offer rebates at places like Newegg and Amazon. Keep an eye out for those. Many of us didn't pay more than $30-$50 for our printers so tell DH you want a very big stocking stuffer
Lisa, I just may do that, I have another month to work on it, and he does spoil me.
