just wondering if anyone here has made the royal icing santa clauses that are clinging to a candy cane? i would love to make some for x-mas but am unsure on how to do it, thanks!

Just pipe it right on the candy cake.

oh! those are so cute! too bad i can't get a close-up! i heard that they were relatively easy to make, not sure if i trust myself to wing them though. icon_biggrin.gif

I think they do the heads on a flat surface. The ones I have seen the heads have been flat on the backs. icon_smile.gif
