Hi guys....I am decorating a cake w/ganache and I just need to know if it needs refrigeration or not. The filling will be chocolate buttercream. I think I read somewhere that the chocolate actually dulls if refrigerated but I am concerned about the heavy cream in it.

I seem to ask a lot of refrigeration questions....does anyone know of a guide for this? Thanks again....

This is a pretty good guide...

and more on ganache...

Storage: Ganache can stay at room temperature as long as it's kept in a cool place. It is perfect to use for a cake or wedding cake that has to sit out -- to store, place under a covered cake saver or inverted bowl so as not to mar its surface. Freeze for up to 3 months
