i made some cream cheese icing on sunday, and i have a cake due on sagturday, i was going to use it as a filling for the cake if it would still be considered "good" it's been sealed up well in the fridge, it will be 6 days old. thanks

Should still be OK. I used some that was 2 weeks old before and it was still good. I'd just do a taste test before you decide.

Do you by chance know what the expiration date on the cream cheese is? I would use that as a guide too.

haven't heard of using food coloring on cream cheese icing. is it ok to do ?

I agree with the taste test, but it should be ok.

Sugarmama I color my cream cheese icing all the time....look on my pics the carrot cakes are all cream cheese frosting.
