I don't send out instructions because I don't have the time. Colette Peters has a book with instructions for a fish.

Can you tell us which book, and are the instructions in the book the same as the one you did? I have a bride to be that wants this cake for the grooms cake, any help would be appreciated. partiesrus@hotmail.com

great cake! I'll start looking through the collete peters books I don't have so I can find it in there. love your cake, I thought it was fondant---your buttercream is perfect!

Looks great. As to the question of how it was done, it seems it was carved to shape and since it was iced in buttercream, it must have been either chilled or let to crust and then either an impression mat was used for the markings or it was hand quilted. It was then airbrushed. The fins look to be gumpaste, hand molded to shape and airbrushed.
