Beautiful work! Did you use a clear something or other to hold up the neck of the guitar? What was it?

Yes-I used the clear stick you get in flowers or at the party store for balloons - Just glued on.

The neck is styrofoam, covered in fondant.

please help. I am in the process of making a guitar cake for this weekend. I am covering the styrofoam neck with MMF. How do you get the fondant to stick. Do I need to BC the foam first? Please help! Thanks so much.

use water or piping gel and 'paint' it on with a paintbrush

I did one and used piping gel and it gave me sooo much trouble!! Be patient, it WILL stick!!!
