Hello! This cake is beautiful! I have to do a similar one this weekend, and I have no idea how to attach the satin ribbon so that it is nice and tight looking, and also smooth. Could you please let me know how you were so successful in doing this? I really appreciate your help! :)
i just made sure the ribbon overlaped in the back and I also cut wax paper just to fit the width of the ribbon to put behind it just incase the oils from the butter may discolor the ribbon but this way it didn't oh and I put a small dot of hot glue on the ribbon to secure it. hop this helps kellienae

dip your cake smoother in HOT water to get smooth icing loved doing this cake!!!
