Penguins

Penguins on Cake Central

For a wedding yesterday. These were passed around by the servers with coffee late in the evening.

I was asked to do penguins, though I don't really know why! I did add the splash of yellow at the neck to add some colour to them...so I guess they are more like Emperor Penguins really!

coppergifts.com is where "Braman" cookie cutters come from. Love the penguins! Did you do one color first (white or black) then come back and do the other. The yellow makes them!

The cutter was a gift years ago from a friend. It is a copper cutter and the only writing on it says "BRAMAN" with a star symbol.

Thanks Mrs_Planeflyer! I did the black first, let it dry for about 12 hours to prevent any bleeding, then came back and did the white. The yellow was done with edible yellow powder mixed into a very thin paste with vodka.
