This was my first wedding cake, done for a wedding last Sunday. The gumpaste flower was inspired from a piece of fabric provided by the bride. It was really fun to do!
gorgeous! I love the flower
wow that looks great! How did you do the flower? what cutters did you use? And what cutters did y ou use for the leaves? They're so nice and big! email@example.com
Beautiful cake!!! Good job on your first wedding cake, I can't wait until I get to do one!!!
Thanks! Imartsy - I actually just freehanded a pattern for the petals and leaves and then cut them out with a knife. Couldn't find a cutter big enough, although I'm sure they're out there somewhere.
What a beautiful cake. The flowers, everything are perfect.
very pretty... and the flower is exceptional!
Very nice. I see you have buttercream forsting? with the ribbon. Did you put the ribbon on after stacking? This was what someone told me and I wondered if it was easier? I have a wedding cake to do this weekend and we are doing buttercream with black satin ribbon around each layer. Thanks firstname.lastname@example.org
Wow! That flower is great!
