Is the swirl shape on the bottom tier a cutout? I haven't seen one that shape. I really like this cake a lot! Great job with fondant! Oh, and what did you use to make it shine?

Coolmom--No, this wasn't a cutout. I wish it were. Each swirl was cut , then formed into the shape I needed--one at a time. I used Superpearl Luster Dust for the bow and embellishments.

Thanks for the comments. I made the loops two-toned by using a Sugarcraft gun to make the thin center strip and attached it with gum glue.:)
