Goose
Last minute request for a goose cake! It was a challenge, so I took it on. Two layer body carved, with dowels covered in fondant for the tail feathers. The head and neck are fondant, covering a 1/2" dowel. The dowel goes through the fir layer of cake, then through a fondant covered styrofoam square for stability. Entire cake is also covered in fondant.
Excellent Job! Very creative! YOu must be proud!
Too cute! In California we have Granny Goose brand potato chips, this reminds me of their logo goose.
excellent work! I'm impressed!
And you thought your goose was cooked!!!! Great job looks like he's about to fly away!!!
Thanks, gang. Turns out it was a big hit at the Athletic Banquet -- the basketball players gave it to the coach, whom they call "Goose"!
