I made this cake 2 years ago with the same result - cake fell over! I just starting taking Wilton classes this year so this cake was way before I knew about doweling or anything about cake supports, etc. I had used little "nerd" candies as the rocks. So many ideas!!
Thanks for the comments! It's an 8" two layer cake. I just cut the side off. I made it right around Father's Day a while ago, so it became a makeshift Father's Day cake! :wink:
