Great job!! I like the design!! 2 suggestions for the "bulge" - don't put too thick a layer and don't put it right on the edge. Put the filling about 1/8" to 1/4" from the edge, that way when you put the top layer on, it will fill in. Hope that makes sense!! The cake really does look good though!!

Love your cake. To eliminate the "bulge" I pipe a dam around the bottom layer (BC works best for me)using a #12 tip. Then I fill and add the top layer. This also keeps any filling from leaking out and discoloring the icing. Look in the articles for more help on this subject. Again, I love your cake!
