I made this cake for my mother-in-law's 84th birthday. The God of Longevity was supposed to travel by cloud. But in this modern age, nothing stopping him from trying something new - flying in Carlos Lischetti's aeroplane.

Everything is made of fondant, except the body of the aeroplane which is fondant covered polystyrene; stabilisers and wings from pastillage. And of course the chocolate cake in the gift box.
