I call this my froufrou-blingbling cake. It was made for a raffle for my niece's dance group. The winner was having a birthday party for her Mum that night and had run out of time to make a cake, so it worked out perfectly. I was inspired by cakes from Faye Cayhill and Paul Bradford and this gave me a chance to try their techniques. I really liked the way the wafer paper feathers reflect in the cake board.
