Cake for a Spider-Man fan. Only the top tier is cake - chocolate fudge cake with dark chocolate buttercream filling, covered with fondant. Gumpaste buildings with royal icing stenciled windows. Both Spider-Men are toys. I found the suction cup toys, and REALLY wanted a way to incorporate them into the cake without cake overload, so I used styrofoam cake dummies for the brick tier. Bricks are made using fondant in a silicone mold.
