Gumpaste Artichokes

Gumpaste Artichokes on Cake Central

First time making artichokes. Two closed, one blossomed (artichoke blossoms are simply stunning in real life...the purple practically glows) Used 50/50 gumpaste/fondant and a small "mum" cutter for the leaves. I made them on a styrofoam ball with a toothpick so they are safe to stick directly on a cake.

Very easy to make these guys.
