Made this cake for my son-in-law’s birthday. He has two passions: fishing and making things out of wood. I’ve made him too many fishing cakes in the past, so I decided to do something different for a change. The cake is a 6 inch three layer Dr. Bird cake also known as hummingbird cake. Covered in buttercream with gum paste decorations.
