Mermaid Cake

Mermaid Cake I made for class . . . it has a bit too much stuff on it, but I was practicing a few techniques. Had fun doing this one. Didn't have anything to fix the doll's hair . . . . it's a bit wild - think "wind blown" . . . .

I love this idea. Did you use the Wilton wonder mold?

Yes, I used the Wondermold pan for this, and a doll pick. There are general instructions in the wondermold kit - but basically, you pipe the shape of the tail with a thick round tip, then cover with ruffles.
