First time working with gumpaste. Made these roses for cake but decided not to use them. Please ignore the little "unknown" flower included in the photo.
Bush...my first fondant roses were a little thick I thought.....when I took my gumpaste class, I started thinning out the petal edges more. Seemed "dangerously" thin....but really worked. I think these would be pretty on a pink cake????

I didn't use them because they seemed a bit heavy. I'll try and use them on another cake. Thanks for the comments.
I might make a cake dummy this weekend and try them on the dummy. Pink sounds good!!

Beautiful flowers. What a unique color...they really could make a great impact on the right cake!
Thanks. I wonder how long they'll last. Maybe I could use them on another cake!!
Very nice! I like the "unknown" one too!
They look just like "pewter". The "unknown flower" looks like a tudor rose. Man the things you could do with these beauties... o boy!!!
Why you didn´t use them??? They look very elegant.
These would be great for s silver anniversary.
