I reall wanted to try intricate lace and extension work with RI. This is my first attempt at it, all in all I am pleased, but I DO need a lot of practice! The cake was made with whatever I had in the store cupboard. It is a Medeira cake with choc fudge frosting inside and as a crumb coat, then covered with some green fondant I had leftover from another cake.
