Wow, what can I say about this cake... It was a BLAST to make. Requested by a friend for her best friend's groom's cake. My hubby wrapped a gift box that was then upturned over it to make it look like a gift on a table so when the groom came in he had no clue. It was revealed by the bride mid-reception to the horror of her side and the raucous laughter of his side. and yes, there are pictures of them feeding each other poop cake. The minions were hand sculpted to look like the bride and groom from 50/50 MMF gumpaste, but they still flattened out a bit. still not sure what Minions have to do with poop, but that was what was requested. the cool part is that the bride saw the minions, then removed the cheesy wiltom cake topper that was on their real cake and perched them atop her actual wedding cake. The cake is devil's food with peanut butter fudge filling (lol what else) and vanilla buttercream. the turds are basically cake pops mixed with some peanut butter for texture hand made into the appropriate shape. a few fondant corn and a cute little fondant fly. TP made from MMF, words smeared on with milk chocolate candy coating. you can't see it in the picture but the two turds on top are looking lovingly at each other with their 'corn' 'eyes'. My 6yo and 3 yo LOVED this cake because they got to eat some of the 'poop'.
