I made this cake for my neighbor's daughters 10th birthday. She requested the green color for the cake, so I decided to make just the top green and the rest brown. It is scaled at 58% size. The neck is thicker than it should be because I wanted it to be edible. It is RKT over foam board, covered in fondant. The strings are dental floss. If I ever do another one I will cut into the cake where the neck joins and set it down in there so it looks more real. I will also try to figure out a way to make the strings tigher. Anyway, I think it came out pretty good. The boots are replicas of her actual boots. They were pointier before I put on the fondant....oh well. They are still my favorite part of the cake.
