this vanilla sponge cake was made for a local cake decorating competition. sadly, I ended thirth, which would be ok, if the winner wouldn't be the most ordinary round sponge with almost no decorative work done! :-(( it left a big scar on my self-confidence, as I am a newbie still... cake decorating for 1 year so far.
